7 Ways to Blog for Money – Things You Can Sell.
Look for a Product or Service to Sell in these Seven Categories
- Sell a product from your Network Marketing company.
Obviously not everyone belongs to a network marketing company, but for those that do, this is a very good place to start. After all you already know something about the product or service and you like the product or service. Just be careful about your company’s marketing guidelines.. - Sell Affiliate products.
With affiliate marketing companies pay you a commission for selling their product. There are several different ways to get paid for affiliate sales (per lead, per click, per sales and others.) It is usually a good idea to see if there are affiliate products related to your particular passion. Affiliate sales can be a nice sideline from your main business. Here are four established companies.
In addition to these Big Companies, you will find that many of the products you buy and like have an affiliate program associated with them. For example I really like the Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto. This is a free ebook that you can download and read. At the same time, it leads the visitor to an offer to buy the Renegade Network Marketer eBook. This book has sold over 400,000 copies and is one of the foundations of Attraction Marketing. This is an affiliate link.
3. Sell Your Own Intellectual Property such as eBooks and Online Courses
Writing and selling your own eBook and Online Courses is a step up from affiliate marketing. In this case you get to keep 100% of the profit.
4. Sell Your Services
If you do consulting work, a blog is a good way to let the world know what you do and that you are available to do it. I loved one article I read that explained in great detail how to change a circuit breaker. At the end a simple statement informed the reader: “If you don’t want to tackle this project, with the associated dangers, this is what we do for a living. Call xxx-xxx-xxxx.”
5. Find Others to Sell Your eBooks and Online Courses
Now you have people selling your product as an affiliate. You can do this on your own or place the product in a site like ClickBank.
6. Get Hired by a Company to Blog for Them
There are companies out there who would like to have a blog. If you can find one, you could be their answer. Freelancing is another form of writing on other people’s blogs for money. BloggerJobs.biz is an example of a site that posts “blogging for money: opportunities. Two other interesting sites are About.com’s Freelance Writing site and. 10 Things to Know about Content Sites .
7. Market Continuity Programs.
There are excellent sites where customers pay every month to receive the service. These sites generate month revenue.
Ann Sieg’s Daily Marketing Coach program is an outstanding example of this. Her program teaches people how to set up a marketing funnel for their business (whatever that business is) and has an affiliate program for her book and her services.
Another type of continuity program is your Network Marketing company. After you have developed a relationship with the people on your list, you can expose them to your company. Some will be interested.
There are other methods (such as running adsence ads on your blog), but most of these aren’t very useful until you have a reputation and a significant amount of traffic coming to your blog every day. Here is another article about how you can blog for money.
Closing Thoughts
If you are blogging with the intent to blog for money, you should be working to create multiple streams of income from your blog. At the very least you should be offering Affiliate Products and be working toward creating your own products.
When you blog for money, you must have a service or product. We just covered 7 Categories
Until next time, you have a Great Day!
