Free Tools are nice, but they have to be POWER tools
Free Tools and Inexpensive Tools – everyone likes the sound of that – as long as they work, work well and solve a real need. Today I’m starting a short series where I’ll introduce you to some of the best tools I’ve found in several years of searching. I won’t be going into Camtasia ($300) or Photoshop ($600), but instead will focus on tools that are VERY useful and cost less than $100 – one time. BTW – the tools must be POWER tools to make the list…
Enounce – MySpeed – an Inexpensive Tool
If you are an Internet Marketing student and can only afford to buy one $30 tool – BUY THIS ONE!.
Enounce retails for less than $30 at http://enoucne.com (not an affiliate link). It installs in your browser and when you are watching a recorded Webinar or video you can speed the video up or slow it down.
260 Hours and Counting
As you can see in this screen shot, I have saved over 260 hours to date – for a $30 investment. That is over six weeks working 40 hours per week.
In this minute and a half video I’ll tell you more.
ENounce – My Favorite Inexpensive Tool
BTW you can use Swith by Tapparatus on your smart phone or tablet to speed up videos you watch there and the free video viewer VLC to speed up videos on your hard drive.
Look for the rest of the Series on Free Tools and Inexpensive Tools for Internet Marketers:
- Enounce a video speed up.
- ScreenPress – Screen Capture, Annotation and much more
- Save time using your browser – LastPast
- Boost the Power of GMail – Rapportive
- A ToDo List that doubles as a CRM System – Remember The Milk
- Branding Yourself – 3 things you really need
- Save time using your browser – SetUp
- Save Notes and Web Clips – EverNotes
- Move data to your Blog or Website – Filezilla
- Communicate well with Skype
- Keywords – with the free version of Market Samurai

I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.

Hi London (or whomever 🙂 ),
There are people at oDesk.com who will move things for you. My personal experience is that developers tend to pressure people toward the tools they are familiar with. While it is certainly more efficient for them, somethimes it isn’t the best move technology wise. I like WordPress and it is still by far the most active platform for bloggers.
I can’t really give you a comparison based on my own experience since I stop mucking around in the guts of things about 6 years ago.
Regards,
Dr. Hale
informative, i also have you bookmarked to see new things
