Photoshop Elements and POD – Print On Demand Products (like Gearbubble.com)

Photoshop Elements and PODPhotoshop Elements™  is the younger sibling of Photoshop™.  While it doesn’t have all of the horsepower, it is easier to use, it is mature, there is a ton of on-line help and it does many things VERY well.   I find that it is especially powerful for creating MEMEs (images with words on them) and Print-on-Demand (POD) product images.  It seems like Photoshop Elements and POD were made for each other.

If you are not familiar with POD, this is a system where you create an image (or purchase one from a designer), upload the image to a website (like Gearbubble.com or TeeSprings.com).  You place your design on a mock-up of a t-shirt, hoodie, necklace, mug or any number of other products.   The company automatically creates a sales page featuring your new product.  When someone buys the product, the company manufactures it (on demand), ships it and collects the money.   They keep the portion need to cover their costs, shipping and a profit.  The rest is yours.

I have created several posts on using Photoshop Elements and POD while working with Gearbubble and this post gives you a link to each of them.  I’ll be adding more as time goes on.
