List Building – Add a Quick One Time Offer with One Line of HTML

A Quick One-Time-Offer?  Yes it is possible.

Quick One Time Offer

Quick One Time Offer

Your Internet Marketing Sales funnel really needs at least one One-Time-Offer (OTO).  The typical sales funnel involves a Squeeze Page with an offer to trade something for the visitor’s email address.  Usually you use paid advertising to drive traffic to that squeeze page.  You can’t pay for your advertising unless you send your visitors to the next page where you offer them a One-Time-Offer which has a price tag.  Not everyone will buy your offer, but if you have targeted the right people and your One-Time-Offer is relevant and attractive some will buy.  If you have put everything together right, the advertising will pay for itself.  I’m going to show you one line of HTML code that will let up create a quick One-Time-Offer.

List Building – Why and How?

List Building  is the last major phase of creating an Internet Marketing business.  The number commonly used is that a responsive, cared for subscriber on your list is worth $1/month on the average.  It is not hard to see that 10,000 people on your list could mean $10,000/month in your bank account.

The question for most beginners is “How do I get 10,000 email addresses?”   The answer is almost always “Paid Advertising.”   You will see a lot of advertisements for “Creating a huge list for free” and maybe some of those system work.  The reason that there are so many is that most marketers know that you really do need to pay to get large amounts of traffic quickly.

A Major Stumbling Block – The Ethical Bribe

For many new Internet Marketers creating their first product – an Ethical Bribe – to trade for a visitor’s email address is a major hurdle.  It takes a lot of work to figure out your niche, how you are going to monetize your efforts and what makes you unique.   Creating a product of some type that incorporates all of that is tough in the beginning.

Ah But A Paid Product is Even Tougher

Once the ethical bribe is finally “done” – at least enough to be presentable, the thought of creating something even more significant to sell is daunting to say the least.

A Quick One Time Offer

Here is how you can create a quick one time offer by leveraging an affiliate product sales page. You don’t want to use it forever, but when you are getting started it is easy and puts something in the bank.

I also use an affiliate product for small eBooks that are relevant to my subscribers, but are not major enough for me to write a full paid product around them.

The HTML Code for Your Quick One Time Offer.

We are going to use  an iframe.  This allows you to put text above the affiliate sales page and below it.

Here is the code.

<iframe style=”width: 100%; height: 1000px;” src=”http://Hale.therenegadenetworkmarketer.com/” height=”240″ width=”100%”>

You would replace the “http://Hale.therenegadenetworkmarketer.com/”  with your own link to an affiliate product sales page.  Many of the products at clickbank.com have a sales page you can drive traffic to with an affiliate link.  If a sale is made you make a commission.  It isn’t the 100% you get on your own product, but it is certainly better than nothing while you work on your own paid-product.

  2. I tend not to drop a bunch of comments, however after browsing through a few of the remarks on List Building – Add a Quick One Time Offer with One
Line of HTML. I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay.
Could it be only me or does it look like like some of the responses look as if they are left by brain dead visitors?

😛 And, if you are writing at other sites, I would like to keep up with you.
Would you make a list of all of all your shared sites
like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin
    profile?

    • iHerb,

I haven’t checked my comments recently and I think some of these are non-native English speakers OR the comments are being spun so they can get backlink. I have disapproved a bunch of those
My Facebook profile is HalePringle, so it my twitter and LinkedIn. I’m creating a new Fan Page on ListBuilding very soon so the Hale Pringle -Hale Yes page will get downplayed.

Hope this helps and hope I hear from you again soon.

      Regards,
      Hale

  3. Hi Hale,

Thanks for all the teachings you provide for your readers. It is pure value.

I am working on creating a Thank-you page . Where do you create it? It is just create a new page on my blog? or it is done through Aweber?

Also, for the iframe code, where shall we paste it in our blog for it to execute.

    Thanks so much Hale.

    Neamat

    • Neamat,

You will end up with lots of Thank You Pages – one for each product you create Free and Paid. They are just pages on your blog. I use a plugin called WP Hide Post which puts a little menu in the right sidebar when I’m editing a post or pag. I tell WordPress to HIDE the Thank You Pages (and sales Pages). The only people I want going there are Leads who are directed to the URL.

The iFrame code just goes in yout Thank You page. You can to change out of Visual Mode and go to Text (or Source depending on your theme) mode.

      Hope this helps,

      Hale

      • Hi Dr. Hale,

Thanks for your response. It is really helpful.

I tried using the code in the Thank you page that I created as you said and I changed to the Text mode but it is giving me an error message. Is the code applicable to all themes. I am using the Thesis theme.

        Appreciate your help.

        Neamat

  4. I will immediately take hold of your rss feed as I can’t
find your e-mail subscription link or e-newsletter service.
Do you’ve any? Kindly allow me know so that I could subscribe.

    Thanks.

    • Celina,

At the bottom of each post there is a slide up that lets you sign up for one of my lists.   I send each blog posts to everyone of my list.  RSS feeds seem to be dying and I’d rather send you a quick note that describes what I’m talking about.  That makes it easier for you to decide if you want to read the post.  There is no reason to read a post if it is about something you don’t need.

      Regards,
      Dr. Hale
